SUMMER READING PROGRAM

For PreK - 5th Grade
(younger children can be read to) 

Reading begins June 1! You can pick up your reading log at the library or click here to print your own (works best if printed landscape or horizontally).
Read two hours per week - that's 20 minutes per day, 6 days per week - and use stickers or color in circles to track your reading. Then come to the library to pick up your weekly prizes. Completed reading logs must be turned in by July 30 to be eligible for the Grand Prize drawing.

Weekly events begin June 8
Baby/Toddler Storytime (ages 0-2)
           Tuesday at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m.
Preschool/Lower Elementary Storytime
           Wednesday at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Craft Time (Young children require adult assistance)
           Thursday at 10 a.m.

Special Guests
July 7 -   Indiana Bones, Storyteller
              10 a.m. at the Pavilion in the City Park
July 13 - Dragons are Too Seldom Puppet Show and Puppet-Making Workshop
              9:30 a.m. at the Pavilion in the City Park with workshop to follow
July 28 - Yoga Storytime with Scottie Bruch
              9:30 and 10:30 a.m. at the library

Grand Finale
July 30 at the library, 5-7 p.m.
Pizza, prizes, storytime, and games for all ages.
Reading logs must be turned in before the Grand Prize drawing at 6:30 p.m.
