Forestry

The Forestry Division of the Spearfish Parks, Recreation, Forestry Department manages trees on City properties. Currently on staff is a Certified Arborist, certified by the South Dakota Arborist Association and the International Society of Arborists (ISA).

Tree City USA

Spearfish is proud to be have been recognized by the National Arbor Day Foundation as a Tree City USA for the past 33 years in 2017.
