Exterior Property Areas

All exterior property areas shall be maintained free from grass, weeds, or plant growth that exceed 10 inches in height. Weeds are defined as all grasses, annual plants and vegetation, other than trees or shrubs; however, this term does not include cultivated flowers and gardens.

Noxious Weeds & vegetation

Noxious weeds and vegetation of any type are strictly prohibited and must be removed from the property.

Managing Responsibility

It is the responsibility of the landowner to manage the trees, grass, and vegetation on their property, including the adjacent public right-of-way. This includes all property areas from the street curb line to the alley.

  • St. Johnswort
  • Scotch Thistle

  • Hoary Cress
  • Leafy Spurge
  • Perennial Sowthistle
  • Purple Loosestrife
  • Russian Knapweed
  • Salt Cedar
