This 71,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility opened in 2008 having been transformed from a box store to a recreation and community center. 

The Spearfish Rec and Aquatic Center is located at 122 Recreation Lane.  The interior of the building features two gymnasiums, three multi-purpose rooms, cardiovascular equipment, multi-station weights, free weights, elevated walking track, and locker facilities. 

Today it is a place where you can find community, youth and family events, fitness, and fun.

Monday-Friday 5:30 a.m-9:00 p.m

Saturday 8:00 a.m -6:00 p.m

Sunday 12:00 p.m-6:00 p.m
