Fitness & Aquatics Coordinator - Taylor Caiati
Hi, I am the Fitness and Aquatics Coordinator here at the Spearfish Rec Center. I moved to Spearfish in January of 2022 after getting honorably discharged from the Marine Corps. I served for four year and always had an interest in fitness and water which led me to dedicate my time to make the fitness department and waterpark better for our community. I teach HIIT, Spin and occasionally Silver Sneakers. I love to snowboard in the winter and hike in the summer. Traveling is a passion of mine so moving to this area was a perfect fit.
Fitness Instructor - Stephanie Votroubek
I have been teaching fitness classes for 10 years and have always been very passionate about fitness. I went to college at Black Hills State University and received a degree in Exercise Science. Right after college, I started working at the Spearfish Rec Center teaching many different fitness classes for about 9 ½ years! After a 2 year break, I am happy to be back teaching the Silver Sneakers classes again part-time. I grew up working hard on a sheep/cattle farm that my parents still own to this day! I am married to a wonderful guy, and we have a 5-year-old daughter and a son on the way! I enjoy being with my family, hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing!

Volunteer Fitness Instructor - Jane Nichols
Greetings! For the vast majority of my life, I have been fascinated with fitness. Fitness and health have always been my passion so I decided to pursue that passion by joining the Gillette Senior Center where I became involved in my second passion, line dancing. I soon became a dance instructor and continued my classes until I moved to Spearfish, I am fortunate to be able to continue teaching Line Dancing at the Spearfish Rec and Aquatics Center. Not only am I very passionate about fitness, I also love to hike, bike, cross country ski, and walking through beautiful parks.
