The program provides the opportunity for an organization to adopt a park, which allows the organization to work with staff and volunteer their time to improve City parks and other facilities by doing upkeep, cleaning, maintenance, weed removal, and other general beautification and improvement projects.
Spearfish is very fortunate to have 15+ local community parks and green spaces. Groups and individuals are encouraged to take pride in their community and assist the Parks department with preserving Spearfish’s green spaces through general upkeep and clean up.
