Fall Clean Up at the Restricted Use/Rubble Site

The Spearfish Restricted Use Site (RUS) will be waiving fees for residents of the City of Spearfish and Lawrence County on Friday, September 9, and Saturday, September 10, 2022.
The RUS will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. during Fall Clean Up Days, and fees will be waived for residential disposal of all acceptable items on these days. Household waste will not be accepted. Regular fees apply to appliances containing freon and tires without rims. Refrigerators and freezers must have the doors removed upon drop-off. The RUS is located north of Spearfish off of Highway 85 on Camp Comfort Road, which is 1.5 miles north of Interstate 90’s Exit 10.
There will be no curbside services during this cleanup event.
The Restricted Use Site hours of operation are:
- Summer hours: 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday, April 15 to October 14
- Winter hours: 7: 30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday October 15 to April 14
