Posted on: May 15, 2023[ARCHIVED] Spearfish Historic Preservation Commission accepting 2023 Paint Grant applications through June 30
SPEARFISH, SD - The Spearfish Historic Preservation Commission is sponsoring a $500 Paint Grant for 2023. In order to be eligible, properties must be within the City of Spearfish, must be residential and owner-occupied, and be at least 70 years old. The Paint Grant is only available for exterior paint and is only available to applicants/properties that have not received the Paint Grant in the last five years. Paint work done during 2023 qualifies, as long as the applicant has receipts (please do not submit receipts with the application).
To obtain an application, please visit the Historic Preservation Commission’s
webpage. Applications will be accepted until June 30, 2023. The Board can select up to four recipients.
