[ARCHIVED] Construction scheduled on North Avenue between Jackson Boulevard/Yankee Street

SPEARFISH, SD - The following is an announcement for construction activity scheduled to take place on North Avenue between Jackson Boulevard and Yankee Street. The project is scheduled to begin on July 6, 2023 and consists of asphalt pavement milling, patching and overlay, concrete flatwork, erosion control, drainage repair, and permanent striping. The project is scheduled to last for the remainder of the construction season through the month of October.

 Traffic Control will be setup on North Avenue during the project. Traffic will be diverted and reduced to two lanes for the duration of the project. The Contractor will begin by closing and working on the east half of North Avenue working toward the north from Jackson Boulevard to Yankee Street. The Contractor will then switch to the west side of North Avenue and work toward the south from Yankee Street to Jackson Boulevard.
