About Ashley McDonald
Ashley was raised in Sioux Falls and attended the University of South Dakota where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. After completing her undergraduate work, Ashley attended law school at the University of South Dakota, graduating in 2010. After law school, Ashley clerked for the First Judicial Circuit. Before joining the City of Spearfish in 2018, Ashley spent seven years as legal counsel for the South Dakota Department of Corrections.
Ashley is licensed to practice law in South Dakota and admitted to practice in all courts in South Dakota and the United States District Court.
